Thompson Gray partners with a variety of groups to help build a strong community. We do this in a multitude of ways including giving monetarily, sharing information about events held by organizations, and through giving our time.
Recently, we sponsored a group of employees in the Miracle League of North Alabama’s golf tournament at Cherokee Ridge Golf Course. Gary Nunley, Matthew Roidt, Bobby Reuter and Joe Helfert participated in the tournament to help raise money for this outstanding organization. The Miracle League of North Alabama is dedicated to promoting the health and well being of individuals with disabilities while educating the public and promoting a greater understanding of matters concerning individuals with disabilities. They do this by providing a safe and enjoyable team sport experience for kids and young adults with physical or intellectual disabilities regardless of his or her experience level or ability.
We also recently participated in a room makeover for a 12-year old girl, Madison, who lives in Hazel Green. We partnered with Rooms of Refuge to give Madison a room that showcases her unique personality and encourages her each day.
Rooms of Refuge is a partnership with Refuge Church and Refuge Community Center to provide extreme bedroom makeovers to children who are terminally ill or have life threatening illnesses.
